The static pressure regulating damper (SPRD) is a round or rectangular 1-blade barometric relief damper. It is a mechanical damper with no electrical connections. The blade has a counter-balance weighted arm that can be adjusted to open when necessary. It is recommended for use on zone damper systems up to 1/2 in static pressure and up to 2000 cfm.

- Counter balanced weighted arm to control bypass air for zoned systems
- Air pressure in duct system increases as zone dampers close, pushing the SPRD open automatically
- Arm and weight both adjustable to control amount of air bypassed
- For larger systems and tighter pressure control, use MARD damper and static pressure controller (SPC)
