The model DAPC can monitor your HVAC system static pressure and the zone damper "Open and Close" commands from your EWC® zone controller. When the static pressure gets too high, the DAPC will modulate "Float" any closed zone dampers towards the open position, in order to control the static pressure. Use the DAPC's default static pressure set point (0.5 in-WC) or select a set point from the menu. If preferred, customize and let the DAPC "discover" the actual "non-zoned" static pressure of your HVAC system and adopt that value as the static pressure set-point. If you don't have enough room to install a bypass, the DAPC is your best airflow management solution.
